Like sighs released into the hollowed night\u2019s deep span,
\nA whispered rain is grief enough to draw a tear;
\nHow could you ever know the depths that move within,
\nWhen broken rhythms stir the sleep that once lay clear?<\/p>\n

Like midnight rain that knocks upon a guarded door,
\nWithin me flicker countless cares, uneasy, worn;
\nThough love be full, it cannot fill what floods once more\u2014
\nA tide returning, troubling stillness newly born.<\/p>\n

So let it be\u2014though love has come when time is thin,
