\nFresh buds shimmer along the trees,
\nand yellow flowers brighten every corner.<\/p>\n
\nsmile quietly among the branches,
\nwhile butterflies
\nin drifting colors
\nwander through the soft air.<\/p>\n
\nthis small town lives in warmth and ease.
\nNeighbors greet one another kindly,
\nuntouched by envy or restless striving.
\nThe schools are good,
\na place where children grow in promise\u2014
\na gentle refuge
\nfar from the clamor of the world.<\/p>\n
\nrows of purple pansies bloom,
\nswaying lightly in the spring wind.
\nLooking at them,
\na quiet sadness brushes my heart\u2014
\nthey remind me of the letters
\nyou once sent in love.<\/p>\n
\nthat love is gone now,
\nits memory remains\u2014
\nlike pressed petals
\nsaved between the pages of time.<\/p>\n
\nthe roses burst into crimson bloom.
\nBirds play among the branches,
\nsunlight falls like silk upon the yard,
\nand the trees lean their shadows across the grass.<\/p>\n
\nwith the turning of the season.
\nAbove, the sky stretches wide and blue,
\nand scattered clouds drift slowly,
\nas though they have nowhere they must go.<\/p>\n
\nbecoming part of the scene\u2014
\na small figure within the painting of spring,
\nsharing with earth and sky
\nthe quiet joy
\nof the season\u2019s return.<\/p>\n
